๐Ÿš— Mobile Office Shopping List

Print loan docs from your car โ€” the LSS mobile office build
โ† Back to Command Center
Sources: Mark Wills / Loan Signing System โ€” Video 1 "Inside the Mobile Office of a Six-Figure Notary LSA" (Connor's build) + his official setup page, and Video 2 "Notary Hacks: Steve's Connor 2.0 build" (Marine vet, Hyundai cockpit). Exact models & prices (affiliate links) are in each video's description + loansigningsystem.com/mobileofficesetup.html.

Two levels: Starter build (Videos 1's A/B options below) โ†’ Advanced build (Steve's hacks, further down). Steve + Mark both say: this is a nice-to-have, not a need โ€” don't buy until you're crushing 20+ signings/month.
โš ๏ธ Don't skip this: a printer draws far more power than a cigarette-lighter outlet supplies โ€” plugging straight in can trip breakers and overheat wiring. You need an external battery or a direct-to-car-battery tie-in with a proper inverter. Consult a pro installer; check your auto warranty before any wiring.

Option A โ€” External Battery Setup easier ยท no wiring

Battery sits in the trunk, recharges at home overnight. Best if you don't want to run wire under the hood, or drive an EV (Tesla, e-Tron, Bolt, etc.).

Option B โ€” Internal Car Battery Setup cheaper ยท needs wiring skill

Wires the inverter directly to your car battery. Costs less (no separate battery/charger) but requires running cable under the hood โ€” only if you're comfortable with auto electrical work.

Standard Signing Kit not in the video โ€” but you'll want these

The mobile-office build powers your printer; these are the day-to-day signing essentials most LSAs carry.

โšก Advanced Build โ€” Steve's "Connor 2.0" Hacks

Steve is a Marine vet + six-figure LSA who repurposed off-roading, camping, and home-theater gear into a mobile office. He removed his Hyundai's front passenger seat and prints while parked. This is the ~$1,500+ tier โ€” inspiration, not a starting point.

๐Ÿ”‹ Power System (trunk) โ€” off-road hacks

Steve runs two batteries in parallel, secured like an overlanding rig.

๐Ÿช‘ The Cockpit โ€” repurposed front seat

Passenger seat removed, replaced with a sliding printer desk. Costs add up fast here.

๐Ÿ“ถ Connectivity โ€” like a home office

A router + hotspot so laptop, tablet, phone, printer, and scanner all connect wirelessly (no cord tangle).

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Front-Seat "Oh No I Didn't Plan Accordingly" Box

Everything within arm's reach so he can restock while driving.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Trunk โ€” Shipping & Field Inspection

๐Ÿ‘œ The Notary Bag

๐Ÿง  Six-Figure Mindset Hacks (free):
โ€ข Repurpose from other industries โ€” off-roading (battery mounts), camping, home theater (cooling fan). Don't reinvent the wheel.
โ€ข QR code + your photo side-by-side = a business card that sticks. The photo makes the connection personal; the QR gives it a destination. Slap it on snacks, donuts, dropped-off docs.
โ€ข The QR points to a linktree โ€” website, Instagram, LinkedIn, Venmo, all in one. (Yours is next on the list to build. ๐Ÿ‘‡)
โ€ข Stack income streams โ€” loan signings + field inspections + apostille/oath seals off the same commission.
โ€ข Always be ready with gratitude โ€” keep a thank-you gift on hand so you never miss the moment.
When to buy: Mark's advice โ€” wait until you're consistently doing 20+ signings/month before investing in the full car build. Start with the standard kit + printing at home, add the mobile office once volume justifies it.

Informational only โ€” product categories per Loan Signing System's public setup guide; verify current models, prices, and your vehicle's electrical/warranty limits before buying. Consult a professional installer for any wiring. Not affiliated with Loan Signing System. ยท DSCR Insider Command Center
